Our story goes back to years ago when we were students at the university. In those days, we were busy building a university project of a UAV that could be steered without a radio controller. Our initial team was formed from a group of friends with experiences from joint drone construction and design projects.
Due to our family background, we had directly experienced the hardships of farming in the village. When the first ideas of using drones in the agricultural industry appeared in the world, we were very impressed. This became a very powerful motivation to start our business in this field.
At first, we started our work with commercial parts available in the market and did our first spraying operations.
Finally, in 2019, we established our company and named it Oj Asman Zagros.
Zagros is the name of a large mountain range in our country that stretches from north to south. Zagros and its vast mountains have a tremendous impact on the formation of civilizations, rivers and agriculture in Iran. “Oj Aseman Zagros” means the height of the sky of Zagros.
Since the beginning of the establishment of the company, we have been active in spraying services throughout the country by forming well-equipped teams and training them. More than 10,000 hectares of spraying with drones is one of the experiences of our company in this field. In addition to seeding and spraying services, we have produced agricultural drones for sale. Apart from production, training, after-sales service and repairs are also part of our activities in the field of agricultural drones.
Our company was formed from an engineering team from the beginning, so it is natural that the technical team and the research and development team play a serious role in the structure of our company. Months before the establishment of the company, the project of building and designing the body of an agricultural sprayer drone started in the research and development team, which was used in many tests and initial operations after it was built.
In parallel with all the company’s plans and optimization of assembly processes, various projects have always been active in the research and development department. During this period, in addition to various bodies, centrifuge nozzles, smart batteries, propellers, and a large number of agricultural and non-agricultural UAV modules and parts were designed and built. Our activities in research and development were not and are not only in the field of agricultural drones.
We have designed various examples of firefighting, imaging, rescue and special purpose drones (Like Tethered drones).
The latest and most important current project in our research and development department is the construction of our own flight controller, the final and operational versions of which will soon enter our commercial production.
Our research and development team consists of young engineers graduated from the best universities in the country. Many of our engineers with specializations in electrical engineering, control, image processing, artificial intelligence, mechanics and aerospace have years of experience working on advanced projects.
